PresenceMD

Human Medicine for the Horse Community

presence /prĕz′əns/

noun

  1. The state or fact of being present; current existence or occurrence.

  2. The fact or condition of being present.

  3. A person who is present, as in physically near.

We come to the show pen chasing that feeling. We haul hours to get there, we sacrifice weekends, we push through tired and sore and stretched thin — all for the moments when it comes together between horse and rider and everything else disappears. We show up completely for our horses. For our runs. For each other.

But somewhere in that devotion, we stop showing up for ourselves. The hormones that shift. The weight that creeps. The cut that needs more than a bandage. The body that carries us to every show but never quite gets the same attention we give the animal in the trailer beside us.

PresenceMD was built for this community — by a physician who rides, who competes, who understands exactly what it means to live this life. We are present at the shows, in the barn, under the awning, when you need care and can't afford to lose a day driving to find it. And we are present between the shows — for the follow-up, the prescription, the question you've been putting off since the last circuit. Cash-pay, no waiting rooms, no prior authorizations, no one dismissing what you've been feeling.
